Do you have physical stores?
Yes. In addition to our webshop, Velvet Music has several physical stores in the Netherlands. Many customers use our website to check stock before visiting.
Do you also sell limited editions and colored vinyl?
Yes. We regularly have colored vinyl, indie exclusives, box sets, and limited editions available. For popular releases, we recommend pre-ordering in time.
Are all products in stock?
The most current stock status is always displayed on the product page. Some releases are directly available, while others are specially ordered or imported.
Do you participate in Record Store Day?
Yes. Record Store Day is an important event for Velvet Music every year. We participate with exclusive releases, special promotions, and regularly also in-store performances.
Can I place a pre-order?
Yes. Many new albums appear as pre-orders on our website early on. This ensures you get a copy as soon as the release becomes available.
Do you also sell K-pop albums?
Yes. K-pop has become an important part of our collection. We sell albums, special editions, and imports from artists such as BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, and more.
Can I order online and pick up in-store?
Yes. Using the store stock widget on the product page, you can see which Velvet stores have an album in stock. Then choose the store where you want to pick up, and you will be automatically redirected to that store's website to complete the order. This ensures your record will be waiting for you.
What is the difference between imports and regular releases?
Imports often come from other countries like Japan, Korea, or the United States. Sometimes these contain special packaging, bonus tracks, or exclusive pressings.
Are you an official record store?
Yes. Velvet Music has existed since 1991 and has been a trusted name among music lovers in the Netherlands for many years. We combine physical stores with an extensive online collection.
Do you also sell second-hand vinyl?
In various Velvet Music stores, you will also find second-hand vinyl. The selection changes regularly as new records arrive daily.
How do you stay up-to-date with new releases?
Our team daily monitors new announcements, labels, artists, and distributors. As a result, many releases appear as pre-orders on our website early on.
